Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Event
Rules
- The main part of each entry must be a pumpkin.
- Pumpkin must be painted/decorated/carved.
- Decorating must be in the theme "Spooky Bayou."
- Objects, paper, and materials of any kind may be pinned or glued to pumpkins. You may also draw or paint on your entries and may dress them up.
- Each entry must have a title and incorporate the theme.
- No pre-purchased, pre-decorated pumpkins will be allowed to enter the contest.
- Upload photo to social media.
- Use the hashtags #GeauxGourd and #LSUstaffSenate to share on social media
Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:
- Best theme
- Best painting
- Best carved
- Best decorating
- Spookiest
- Most team spirit
- People's Choice
Theme Ideas
Think a mix LSU with local flair: Use moss, alligators, crawfish, Mardi Gras beads, etc.
- Paint a swamp scene on pumpkins
- Create a voodoo pumpkin (tastefully spooky!)
