Dr. Courey’s research applies Bayesian methods to examine, model, and improve statistical communication and decision-making in organizations. She focuses on novel applications of Bayesian methods within the areas of personnel selection and employment discrimination, and she examines how data visualizations and skills for interpreting data impact decisions in these contexts.
