Since 2005, LSU Communication Across the Curriculum (LSU CxC) has worked alongside faculty within the disciplines to advance students’ learning of course content and essential communication skills. LSU’s focus on high-impact communication-intensive teaching and learning helps students gain transferable writing, speaking, visual, and technological communication skills that enable them to excel as learners, citizens, scholars, collaborators, contributors, and leaders.
"As I continued to take more Communication-Intensive (C-I) courses at LSU, it was evident that the activities my professors built into the curriculum of each course were not only enhancing my learning of the subject, but also building my abilities to communicate more effectively and transfer these skills to my future."
