Biography
Dr. Karen Goodridge Palmer has a relentless commitment to developing the potential in others as a passionate thought-leader and bridge-builder who is dedicated to helping young professionals and executive leaders’ transition through some of the most critical times of their lives. She has an unprecedented ability and willingness to meet people right where they are by cultivating authentic relationships that solidify long-term impact and produce practical, yet holistic transformational change.
Having personally experienced and overcome many challenges herself, she understands the value of “investing in the lives of others...because they’re worth it.” This life motto serves as the foundation for her personal drive, success and influence.
Dr. Goodridge’s professional experience spans over 14 years in personal development, personal branding, and career coaching and in both the private and public sectors. Currently, she serves as the Founder and CEO of KG Consulting Group, a personal development and training consulting group in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Previous experience includes serving as Student Development Specialist at Franciscan Missionary of our Lady University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she provided leadership over career services, student development, and leadership programs. Dr. Goodridge’s professional experience and affiliations have inspired her to design a personal branding model that has been an integral part of her career. She has provided numerous training engagement regarding personal, professional and leadership development for the Universities and local communities.
In addition, Dr. Goodridge has served as a guest speaker for Baton Rouge Entrepreneur Week for the Business Honor Society of Baton Rouge Community College, Women in Leadership for the Wal-Mart Management Team and InternBR for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC), and has guest lectured at Louisiana State
University, Baton Rouge Community College, and many other professional venues.
