Caitlyn Morrinson
Senior Manager for Strategic Initiatives and Planning

I went to a residential high school in Natchitoches, LA, and started my 'living on
campus' journey early! I stayed in Caddo Hall at NSU while I was in high school (most
similar to Herget at LSU) and then moved to Loyola University in New Orleans. I lived
in our freshman honors hall, Buddig, for my first year on campus & then moved to our
upperclassman hall, Founders, for the rest of college. I spent around 6 years total
living in dorms!
"I love having a job where I can help create meaningful experiences for LSU students. " -Caitlyn
My favorite thing to do in Baton Rouge
I like finding group classes around Baton Rouge where I can try new things and meet new people. My favorites have been pottery at Bellyfire Studios and cooking classes at Red Stick Spice Company!
One thing you learned from living on-campus
Living on campus is what you make of it. My best memories are from attending hall events and making friends outside of just my roommate circle. It allowed me to branch out all over campus, meet new people, and eventually find what I was most passionate about.
My favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is Mike's Habitat! I love stopping by when I'm in that area of campus to catch him roaming around or taking a swim! When I can't make it over there, I keep up with his Mike the Tiger socials!
