Jordan Burkes

Jordan Ridley Burkes is a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Marketing at the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University (LSU). She holds an MBA and MS in Finance from Auburn University, and a BS in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. Her research interests are in romance consumption, digital and social media marketing, and corporate social responsibility. Her dissertation explores the consumption of romance literature and readers' immersion in the romantic experience. Before joining LSU, Jordan was the program coordinator for the Auburn Center for Ethical Organizational Cultures and a writer for the Auburn Plainsman.
